Could that be done in a “white glove” way? Cracking the original shell on a phone requires quite a bit of heat and leverage, both of which seem super risky.
Isn’t the back plastic? If so it shouldn’t be that hard to remove it without damaging it, but I would check repair videos or ifixit and see if they damage it.

The Pixel 10 has a glass back, and unfortunately it requires heat and a suction cup to remove it according to the iFixit guide.
Yeah atleast its posibble to remove it without destroying it (judging from ifixit images that is).
