Beware of romance scams. They can be very patient and build a “connection” for months before starting to need money.
They’ll need money for all kinds of stuff, like to come visit you but will then cancel at the last second. Maybe their car broke down or they or a family member goes to the hospital.
They can use AI to fake images and their voice in phone calls - even fake video calls where they look like a completely different person.
Don’t trust someone you’ve never met, be open with family and friends about the person you’re talking to and trust their judgement of if it’s a scam or not, and don’t send money to anyone before meeting them for real.
Don’t be ashamed if you do fall for a scam, talk to the people you know so they can help you get out of it.
Scammers are scum, but they are very good manipulators, especially with people who are older and looking for connections. Stay safe!

Yeah there used to be a different instance for all the porn and such, but the admin couldn’t keep up with it. So the FediNSFW was created only a few months ago if my memory serves correctly. It HAS become much more active in those few months, so hopefully that growth continues!
There’s a fun questions/truth or dare community that has sorta the same feel as well, though I can’t remember the exact name of that community.
Be really strict with moderation. That kind of age-play group is ripe for predators, so you’ll want to be sure to protect the younger users to an extent. You also don’t want minors sneaking into the group and causing a lot of legal issues as well.
So yeah. Strict moderation is my advise.

Make a video of you saying things I’ll write in the group description. With that way, it should be a safe group for cougars ( you can cover everything on your id but not your age, photo and name)
