We can’t even get Germany to pool for a 60 euro ticket for Germany, how do you expect that to work on a european scale. Besides public transport varies a lot in Europe including the price. And Germany is not even close to the worst on that list. Crete for example has a bus system - without an official time table. You basically just guess if there’s even a bus coming and locals do the same. And even if one comes, it might just be full, with the next allegedly coming in another hour - or earlier - or later, nobody knows.
