You guys are both wrong.

Their given names are Ilsung, JongIl, and Jongun(I prefer Jeongeun). We do not have concept of middle name.

Ilsung and Jungil are not so common. Never seen anyone personally.

Jungeun: pretty common. It’s a girl’s name actually.
