I imagine every couple months, many players tend to come back whenever new maps and shit are released. There’s also the zombies community; certainly not as big as the multiplayer community, but it’s big enough nonetheless that it’s gone from a niche game mode in the occasional game to a cod staple that’s in every game. And that group loves playing the same game throughout the year (source: I was one of them and if the new games didn’t suck ass I’d still be one). Hell, I still go back and play BO2/3 zombies occasionally, 14/11 years after release, so not owning the game is a big no from me.
When the gamepass version that comes with CoD costs $20, there really isn’t any point in getting it through gamepass unless you plan to completely drop the game after 2 months.
