Today I randomly thought about my aunt and uncle, who are twins. They claim they don’t have DID, but that their condition is actually the result of satanic ritual abuse by family members when they were kids, specifically some kind of spirit-transfer black magic that went wrong. I’m curious to hear about your own family lore.

    Depends what you mean by “crazy”, I suppose.

    Specifically DID? No one in my family I know of.

    I have a laundry list of mental health issues, so I might qualify.

    But the only person in my family who has been institutionalized was my one cousin. I think he was getting violent before they got his meds right.
