There’s no “UK accent” (nor “us accent”)
There is an accent called General American (GenAm), however.

Witch Doctor - De Staat

Seagal was perfect in Executive Decision though (he dies in the first 10 minutes)

They say blue for the green traffic light but they call a lot of things blue that are more green (like plant shoots are called blue)

It’s always interesting watching those big guys move. Not too many sumo fans around here and we didn’t manage to post much the last couple tournaments but you can always check out !sumo@lemmy.world

Did you play BS F-Zero? It was only available as a streaming service in Japan in the 90s, but someone managed to put a rom together a couple years ago. It mostly just feels like a remix of the first game, but it’s still some new content

I still play doom, although I try a lot of newer wads. It’s crazy that there’s basically 30 years of free content people have been creating since it came out (even if most stuff much past 10 or 15 years old can feel kinda dated and not so interesting to play).

Looks like they all eventually became mr beast

米 is the second character of 亜米利加
I wonder why it became beikoku instead of mekoku when it got shortened to 米国. I’m glad language learners at least don’t have to deal with ateji anymore. What a nightmare.

hell of a read, thanks

What’s the story?

Glad there are people around who still remember the sneeze. Since I first found it I’ve actually become a fan of both natto and silkworm pupas, though I imagine the latter out of a can doesn’t taste as good as fresh.
