Came here to post “malparido.” I used to work with a Colombian guy who threw that one around a lot. He was chill.
Just a guy. Just a fella. Subject to say silly stuff.

Thanks for the correction. That’s what I get for replying just after waking up.

When you click that RSS link, it downloads a file that you can then import into your RSS reader of choice. It’s just a easy to aggregate anything you’d want to read via RSS (think of it like your own personal magazine subscription). If you mod a community you could set it up to get notifications when someone posts through that same reader application.
Guess he got distracted by a woman?

I give a little money to the Piefed project every month, it’s the least I can do since I’m not a programmer, otherwise I’d contribute that way too.

Looks like a good resource to read, thanks! As you may know there are a billion and one guides for doing the same thing across a plethora of systems, and even more variables in between. Appreciate your time.

The few times I do use curl, all I can think of is this sketch. Glad there are some TR fans here too 😁

Every time I see your avatar, OP, I think of Audacity 😅
Mine’s just… Something I came up with. It came to me in a dream I guess.
The only people who will side with him are c-suite dipshits protecting corporate interests and AI/Tech bros lacking a grip on reality. Fuck you, Sweeney, you piece of shit.

Fellow Bazzite-to-CachyOS user! I agree, Cachy is so much better, especially for learning Linux. Bazzite was great, but layering packages with RPM-OStree was just too esoteric for me.

I sing Pizza Mozzarella to my husky Bella except I say “Iiit’sa Little Bella.”

A friend of mine just dropped $700 on 2x64Gb for his upcoming editing rig. Most expensive part of the build.
Can’t speak for myself as I haven’t played it, but a good place I like to check is Protondb. Their page for Arc Raiders says it should be fully compatible :)
Obviously the folks posting at protondb can’t speak for anyone so hopefully some folks here have some helpful anecdotes!

You think Gabe Newell hates Microsoft so much that he has his company contribute to Linux and open source, simply out of spite?

I think for many people, whether they’re tinkerers or programmers or whoever, enjoy the freedom that comes with Arch.

I was gonna say before reading your last sentence, the Steam Deck definitely could have accelerated this. It’s extremely accessible while doubling as a computer powerful enough for development. It’s pretty great they’re offering dev kits for the new Steam Frame, too. It’s really going to bust the scene wide open.

I don’t like to make fun of where people live, because everyone has different circumstances. But it is severely mind-boggling that people who do live in rural, less economically-inclined areas think that a narcissistic, city-slicking conman has their best interests in mind. This person may remain in that mobile home forever while Trump and his cadre of billionaires continue to siphon them for every penny, and that’s depressing.

Apps is short for Applications, which is another word for “programs” or “software.” You want to use a PC without any software??
At least Jenny didn’t use ChatGPT to write this one.
