I am not a young person and do not ever use TikTok. The reason I think there is a genocide is the sheer preponderance of evidence.

I eat at like 5:30 to get dinner done and beat the crowds if I’m eating out.

Early internet was definitiely awesome, but it had no safeguards to prevent things like spam and malware.

And there are so many games that never got finished or polished properly.

Nope but we need to place great pressure on our representatives to put in safeguards against this in the future. The government has become like the early internet, too dependent on general good will and honorable behavior.

Some HOAs will object too, without a doubt.

Many colleges can be a great environment for learning and meeting people. College very commonly expands people’s horizons and leads to life long friends. And even if some students came from bad homes or are bad people, college gives them a chance to re-invent themselves.

Of course you don’t want to go to a party school and you need to be there to study primarily. But joining clubs and activities should open your world up considerably.

Remember you can’t choose your family but you can choose your friends.

If the service was truly viable they wouldn’t need to be supporting it in that way so early. Ads might delay the bubble popping but it’s not a good sign IMO. Selling ads is going to be a lot more difficult than getting millions or billions of dollars from investors.

Music is art and therapy to me. Helps me process and feel emotions when I don’t really want to talk about them in real life.

I like all sorts of music and it helps me relax and unwind, commiserate when I’m sad, or get hyped up when I’m doing something active.

We need actual officials and lawmakers putting a stop to this fascist bullying.

Yeah that would be ending it, stopping it, banning it. Permanently pause is weasel language that they like to complain about.

They’re so worried about getting into AI they don’t care about the environmental impact, the economic impact, security, or whether it even works.
