Have you heard about the correlation between the increase in left-handedness after left-handed people stopped being thought of as “wrong” somehow? Perhaps it’s that the increasingly hostile social environment is making people less likely to identify themselves as being trans for fear of being targeted?

Tamagotchis were a “fad”. Society being open to people expressing their identities is not a “fad”.
