  • Only because I had to explain the differences recently and it’s top of mind:

Satisfactory - Main goal is efficient usage of limited amount of throughput. Resource nodes are static, and efficiency is the name of the game. My favorites usually end up a spaghetti mess of belts, everything being fed the correct amount of inputs and all outputs being accounted for.

Factorio - Main goal is THE FACTORY MUST GROW. Your factory need more input to run 100%? You could figure out how to optimize everything that comes before it, orrrr just slam more out. Resources are randomly generated, and while you can exhaust deposits, there’s always more on the horizon. Explore. Expand. Exterminate. ENLARGE FACTORY. Usually ends up in a beautiful mess of a factory with bots zipping around, and the power flickers every now and then when the biters think they are more powerful that explosives/concentrated beams of light.

Actually one of the best things for fleas (outside of oral medications) is Dawn, no jokes. We had a bad outbreak after the dog brought them in and they got on our 3 cats so it was a battle of attrition as wed wipe out the infestation in one animals and it get reestablished on the others but bathing and flea combing them every day (and dusting the carpets and furniture with diatomaceous earth) eventually we wore them down, broke their lines, crushed their flea men and heard the lamentations of their flea women, who were then also crushed.

I still have PTSD flashbacks like 3yrs later when I feel a tingle on my leg and think it’s a flea 😅

  • And while we’re ranting about this, can we throw PMI and whomever came up with it on the bonfire where they belong?

Your telling me that I need to pay for you to have insurance in case I default while your also charging me interest who’s very purpose is to offset risk? Why am I paying to offset your risk FUCKING TWICE AND HOW IS THIS FUCKING LEGAL.

Shit infuriates me. I want all the bankers to get William Wallace on live TV, recorded and played back once a year during a mandatory viewing window so that we never, ever, forget.
