It can be an issue with the people starting these challenges while also being an issue with the way tiktok works with sharing these copycat videos on the platforms algorithm.
I don’t think “omg tiktok bad” but in the case of these dumb challenges, it is one of the few things I can see people actually pointing at when saying tiktok is bad, rather than “but china.”

Honestly I would be happy if they basically made it into a Tales Of game as that’s already got dual/triple techs basically, it’s got overworld vs regular maps. It is very close to what a more modern Chrono Trigger would be. I would rather keep the original battle system but I wouldn’t be too mad. They could add all the little party talking cutscene things like in those to add more stuff without having to go crazy on the story.

I mean, sure but we are past that. No large YouTuber will give up getting paid, and go to a system with a much smaller user base so even stuff like affiliate links and sponsorships are worth less. Basically double lose money just to join peertube. Especially since most large YouTubers have a team of people who they pay, so they cannot afford for their employees sake to take such a large loss just to support peertube.
More likely this leads to Vimeo, or like twitch TikTok or something else being able to support a normal video platform than it leads to people using peertube.

Yeah I think the largest reason a lot of people are more upset with DNC over refusing progressive policy is that well, there’s still plenty of leftist policy that people would not go for so something like PSL, whose last candidates were talking about nationalizing the top 100 companies would not be something I could see people getting behind. And yeah, the internet is the internet, I just wish people didn’t get so stuck in their ways that leftists are tankies or vegans are snobby assholes or etc. like sure some of those people exist but most real humans aren’t those stereotypes. But oh well.
Glad we can at least agree on some things. I just try and stop people from attacking the leftists because most still will vote down ballot, which helps with congress and local elections and local amendments and other ballot measures, but stopping them from voting means losing all of that. Can’t really blame them for not voting for a party that refuses to represent them. I’d rather encourage someone to vote third party than not vote.
And yeah, while I understand immigration is something people think about, that was honestly one of the biggest things to piss me off. We did not need to validate their bullshit racist irrational fears and decide to be “hard on immigration.” Like, stop playing by their bullshit games and do something right.
So, what’s your plan on passive progressive policy? Keep voting for centrists that keep campaigning with republicans? That remove third parties from elections? That run attack ads on third parties? That refuse primaries? We keep doing that and the party is going to be where republicans are now in 20 years. If the DNC refuses to adopt progressive policies, they lose. That’s not my fault. They would rather Trump win than give up their power. Can’t support a party that doesn’t represent me. I would like it to, but it refuses.
Yall need to understand people criticize the DNC because they want it to be better. Most progressives still vote, and even if they did not vote for Harris, they voted down ballot. But when you sue to remove their candidate from the ballot, then they don’t show up and then you lose those local elections. When you continuously attack progressives and defend the DNC’s choice to abandon progress after it had the biggest victory it’s had running on the promise of progress in 2008, you’re helping to cause voter apathy and that leads to losing local elections. Which leads to republicans controlling the house and senate and presidency.
