2 months agoThere are many protests, more than there were in 2017, but they are mostly smaller in attendance. The difference is the media coverage. And you are right, there hasn’t been a single event like the Women’s March that has broken through to international coverage.

I’m a big fan of a few of Ghibli’s films but I feel the same way about others. The whimsical and somewhat metaphorical quality of most of them can really lessen their emotional impact imo.
