I think it’s because of the hatred for AI, even though it’s just another tool. Because calling it a scam ignores the history it’s had since the 1960s.
AI is software that can improve over time; if it can’t do something now, it will be able to do it in the future.
Excessive hatred of AI will also cause people to stop caring about what happened to climate change. The problem persists, but it’s no longer talked about much.
It remains to be seen whether its IPO will have good margins or break records that catapult it into the S&P 500 and Dow Jones.
401k pensions will depend on an AI company and if it goes bankrupt, pensions will be affected.

24·10 days agoIf insurers remove measles coverage, we can say that the problem has gotten out of control.
It’s an interesting topic if you research it, because AI has been around since the 1960s, and there have been several winters.

Realistically, AI will continue to advance and will only stop when there’s another winter, although there will likely be protests, which will likely be history depending on their effectiveness in society.
Something similar happened with the protests against the Apollo program; the programs are currently remembered more than the protesters.
I think it could hurt Elon’s ego in the future.
Governments are more powerful than companies, if there is resistance it is because the government does not have all the power and if there is no resistance it is because the government has all the power
It’s more complicated, because that conflicts with international treaties.
It could be another Embrace, Extend, and Extinguish strategy from Microsoft, because if the increase in Linux user share leads to an increase in malware, most of those users aren’t experts.
So there will be an increase in antivirus software for Linux, but that will also lead to DRM in Linux, and Linux may become what I swore to destroy. While BSD distributions, Redox OS, and other systems take over to become the new Linux as it was in its beginnings.
