Yeah, this would happen under basically any administration.

No, most administrations would recognize she’s not a threat and would let her go home and make her attend a court date in the future to sort it out. Locking her up for weeks doesn’t protect anyone and it doesn’t solve anything. They’re doing it just to be cruel.
