    My parents are both long gone, but if I had sent either of them a picture of my genitalia (at least as an adult), I would’ve just followed up with something like “sorry, that was meant for someone else.” Why be embarrassed? People like seeing other people’s genitalia - and boobs. Nothing wrong with it.

      I don’t really think that’s how embarrassment works.

      If that were the way people thought, every single person on earth would be sharing their nudes on OnlyFans or similar. In actual fact, (the prospect of) embarrassment and shame prevent them from doing so.

        I don’t know; I’m not proud of my genitalia, but I sincerely am not ashamed of it. Other than because I might scandalize them, I wouldn’t be embarrassed to send it to a disinterested party. It’s part of me. Some people might enjoy it.

        I think not putting it on OnlyFans is mostly because I’m not proud, not because I’m embarrassed. And if I make a mistake sharing it, well, I think an apology is appropriate.
