Fiddling around with Renovate Bot on my Forgejo instance. It’s not working perfectly yet, but it’s getting there.
Also I began using LubeLogger to track my car expenses and fuel efficiency. Works beautifully.

It’s going in a circle, eventually ending up at nvidia and co.

This is Chat Control 1.0, the “temporary”, voluntary scanning of unencrypted stuff.
They are actively working on Chat Control 2.0, the permanent, mandatory scanning of everything including encrypted stuff.

I’m guessing it was screenshot from a GIF

Which kind of AI? I certainly hope not LLMs.

Yes but that is my point. How would one get hired for their initial job if everyone requires them to have experience before hiring?

Unrelated to the original topic, but how would people without experience build such a portfolio if every manager thinks this way?

That’s great for you, unfortunately I’m in Austria

Ice cream, right now it’s around 2.50-3.80€ per scoop. I remember from a few years ago it was at 0.80€

Yes, because that is actually the purpose of those sounds. Not to sound “cool” but to warn pedestrians the otherwise nearly silent car may be moving.

This is how cursive was taught to me in Austria:
Here it only makes sense to cross the “t” to flow into the next letter. Usually I kept track of the various dots and accent marks for each word, though sometimes I would write them immediately.
I don’t write in cursive any more, so it doesn’t really make a difference if i do the accents immediately or later.
Interestingly, cursive is now taught slightly differently in Austria:

In 2027 we can probably expect vastly larger bills or reduced usage limits. The price at which some models are being offered right now is in no way sustainable. For example Anthropics subscription plan gives you tons of quota for the most expensive models, while costing relatively little. Github Copilot recently changed its billing to token-based (before it was request-based) and it already produces incredible bills within the company I work for.

You can also check the build/install date of a package with pacman -Qi
not fully POSIX compliant
that’s the first time i heard about that one. in what way?

They also probably realized providing free Copilot in Windows would get very expensive quickly, and that not enough users would pay for it.

There have been multiple studies finding a general decrease in cognitive skills and critical thinking related to AI use. Here is one of them: https://doi.org/10.3390/soc15010006

headscale, an open-source reimplementation of the tailscale control server, exists. I haven’t tried it myself yet, but it claims to be an option for a fully selfhosted tailscale-compatible network.
“personal massaging tools”

See my top-level comment, but WinBoat does seem to set the process name for its Windows VM to “windows”.
Now if WinBoat is not used here, I agree this might be malware.
Maybe a little more irrational and chaotic, haven’t noticed much change in aggression or rudeness. Just more impulsive decisions, like switching lanes at the last moment. Just today I witnessed a near collision between three cars who were all abrubtly switching lanes simultaneously almost into each other.
