I second this. Actually I fifth it because I was the fifth to upvote.
Nothing worse then a never ending game of monopoly where you are losing a slow loss.

How close to a data center do you have to live to experience the ‘living by power lines’ health effects?

The core issue is that humans naturally conflate fluency with certainty. When a person isn’t sure about something, we pick up on subtle, non-verbal cues—a furrowed brow, a slight hesitation, a defensive tone, or qualifying phrases like “I think.”
AI systems don’t have those micro-expressions. Because they are optimized to generate polished, statistically plausible language, they serve up a total hallucination with the exact same calm, authoritative syntax as a verified historical fact.

Global warming will bring more hurricanes to Texas. Problem solved

This was happening to me but then stopped and I’m not sure why.
I already deleted Reddit from my bookmarks and started adding -reddit.com into my Google searches. If there was an easy way to default -reddit.com into every search then I would do it.

“Court filings say customers paid premium prices for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the iPhone 16 lineup because they believed these phones would soon get the heavily advertised AI upgrades. And here we are, halfway through the iPhone 17 release and still waiting for it.”
The lawsuit should be that Apple Intelligence is so barely noticeable that you’re going to have to google what it does. Download Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini and you have Apple Inteligence.

I would stick to niche and small subreddits. Here is why.
So basically if you’re commenting on a a trending post that has 500+ comments, you’re probably wasting your time by posting into the abyss. You might have bots and people downvoting your content so they can upvote their own content for more visibility.
Stick to the small subreddits if you’re not trying to make money off Reddit and want a sense of an online community. It’s not worth it to bots and community content creators to waste too much time in those communities.

They probably are designed for low resolution because Apple couldn’t mass produce better cameras affordably. Plus there is other hardware they don’t have space for.
This will most likely follow the iPhone camera business model where new model AirPods will keep getting upgraded cameras.

I can literally throw a rock outside and hit someone in the head wearing some type of headphones. There are tons of options out there.
AirPods aren’t impressive and Apple isn’t focused on exciting their customers like they were a decade ago. My old Apple Watch died recently and I replaced it with another brand. Be loyal to Apple the same way they are loyal to you.

I’m more tired of algorithms. For example, I like to scroll suggested videos on YouTube. I kept getting the same video suggestions and the same type of videos. Like I would get a ton of channels with Joe Rogan clips. You would have thought I was a mega fan but I rarely listen to Rogan. Anyway, when I got a new phone I was logged out of YouTube and my ‘suggested video’ feed instantly got much better. I have not logged into YouTube since.
I am also tired of AI though. AI feels like imposter syndrome and is being used by lazy people. For example, I made a website about something I knew nothing about but my website looked like I was ann expert. I used AI write my articles. All I had to do was make sure it sounded good and then post it. A lot of people were doing this now especially if they are trying to make money off affiliated marketing. Anytime you see something like “10 best [fill in the blank]”, that was probably heavily influenced by AI and influenced from other trending articles.

In terms of enjoyment, TikTok used to be like a best friend. Now it’s like a coworker who works in sales and wants you like them. I’ve reset my feed settings so many times because TikTok gets so boring.
I have days where my feed turns into constant marketing videos. Like there will be ads but then the videos I get shown are people talking about a specific product or program. They don’t directly come out and say they are promoting something. It’s like subliminal marketing. I wish I had an example of this. I just know it when I see it.

This is just for show and will end up going nowhere. If you think this has even a remote chance at changing the minimum wage then I have a bridge to sell you.
We live in a time where democrats do nothing but act appalled, corporations control politics, corporations keep getting bigger, consumer prices increase year after year, healthcare premiums constantly cost more and employee benefits keep getting more expensive every year. What gives you the idea corporations are going to let politicians triple minimum wage? If that happens it will have a ripple effect where higher paying job positions will want a raise because why should someone making an entry level wage be paid the same as a job position with a lot more responsibility?

There is a filter in the bottom of the dishwasher. Its purpose is to collect large particles of food or whatever is being washed so it doesn’t clog your drain.
If you’re constantly putting really dirty dishes in your dishwasher you should find that filter, twist it out and rinse it off. It’s probably full of nastiness. That nastiness is part of your routine dishwasher cycle until you empty the filter. It might be the reason all your glass is cloudy instead of clear and looking new.
To answer the original question though, I wash the dishes and use the dishwasher as a santizer to clean what I’ve missed.

2 years is wishful thinking. There is enough space in entertainment for AI actors and human actors. That being said, I think AI actors will dominate here.
The average movie watcher is already a fan of a fake image of entertainers whether they are on screen or not. AI isn’t replacing your best friend, it’s replacing someone you have never met and will probably never see in person anyway. Actors will have to start building deeper connections with their fans if they plan to stick around.

I would never see a comment like that on Reddit unless 800 bots upvoted it.

Hopefully Reddit is next. World news, technology, and pretty much every big name subreddit could use a shutdown. I get wayyyy more replies on Lemmy than I ever did on “active” reddit posts with supposedly 4k comments. It got to the point that I would be surprised anytime someone replied to me.
I’ve lost faith in all tech

Ah okay got it now. Thanks. I didn’t understand it all the way. My comment is irrelevant
I mean, they kinda have to because Jesus is the reason for the season.
