We’re keeping an eye on it. Right now it’s just something cute she does, but if it starts moving beyond self soothing we’ll step in and try to help.
What a cutie patootie!
One of my cats did that for a while as a kitten. We think she was weaned a bit soon. She grew out of it.
Yeah it’s a perfectly natural self soothing activity. You should only ever worry when it becomes compulsive. You’ll notice bald patches and sores.

That’s an exceptionally adorable picture. You can just hear the tiny little purr.
Weaned too soon, maybe?
Too soon to tell. It’s not weird for kittens to do sometimes.
I too would give my axe for Val and her grumpy protector (where is he btw)

Still kicking around.
Yesssss! By the way, mine sucked his tail and lovingly licked the walls (?), when he was Val’s age. He’s not entirely normal yet 2 years later (he chases his tail and noms on electric cables, is very scared of his shadow but would chase after cats 3 time his size, and would slurp stagnant gross water instead of his fresh water bowl) but he’s healthy?
I would die for Val.

Then perish
